Fall 2025:

​NEW!!! Create your own Amigurumi Crochet critter - 4 Thursdays in October from 3:00pm - 5:00pm Grades 5 - 9

Kindergarten ONLY:

Wednesdays 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Students will be learning a variety of art techniques and will work with many different materials. This youngest group of kids will also be given many opportunities to develop their small motor skills, strengthen their hand muscles, broaden their vocabulary, and experience new ways to practice their social and emotional learning skills.

They will complete a minimum of ten masterpieces to be enjoyed for years to come! Each semester will have a minimum of one guest artist come to Little Art School to give a hands-on demonstration of a new art material to become familiar with as well as creating their own piece of art.

Grades 1 and 2:

Mondays 2:30 - 4:15pm

​Students will be learning a variety of art techniques and will work with many different materials. ​Students will be learning a variety of art techniques and work with many different materials. They will complete a minimum of ten pieces of art to be enjoyed for years to come! We will be introduced to many diverse artists from around the world and will become familiar with a variety of cultures, celebrations and traditions from around the globe. Each semester will have a minimum of one guest artist come to Little Art School to give a hands-on demonstration of a new art material to become familiar with as well as create their own sample. There will be an end of year celebration/art show to highlight all the work we have done during the year.

Grades 4 and 5:

Wednesdays 3:45pm-5:30pm

​Students will be learning a variety of art techniques and work with many different materials. Heavy emphasis will be placed on contemporary art from around the word, color theory and learning about architecture through the study of one-, two-, and three-point perspective. They will complete a minimum of ten pieces of art to be enjoyed for years to come! There will be a unit on graffiti where kids will be exploring the history of this art, study typography, and go on a field trip to the Krog Street tunnel to make their own art on the walls! There will also be a guest artist each semester who will come to Little Art School to give a hands-on demonstration of a new technique as well as have kids make their own art with them as well.

Grade 6 - 8:

Tuesdays 4:30pm - 6:30pm

​​Middle school students will be working with a wide variety of materials and learning many techniques in the class. Artists that we study will almost exclusively be contemporary with an emphasis on diversity of all kinds. Kids will get to do a deep dive into exploring materials of their choice with the added challenge of mosaics, cement, and fiber art. Observational skills will be challenged working with portraiture. Each semester will have a guest artist come to Little Art School to give a hands-on demonstration of a new techniques and will work with the students to create art using it.

Grades 9 - 12:

Mondays 4:30pm - 6:30pm

​​High school students will be working with a wide variety of materials and learning many techniques in the class. Artists that we study will almost exclusively be contemporary with an emphasis on diversity of all kinds. Students will get to do a deep dive into exploring materials of their choice with the added challenge of mosaics, cement, and fiber art. Each semester will have a guest artist come to Little Art School to give a hands-on demonstration of a new techniques and will work with the students to create art using it. Observational skills will be challenged working with portraiture. High school students will also be preparing their portfolios as they continue into higher education.
